Designed for durability and performance, the Manduka eKO yoga mat is made from natural, non-amazon harvested tree rubber and will decompose completely at the end of its useful life, without leaving a footprint in landfills.

Like Manduka's best selling Black Mat, the eKO mat has been designed by yoga teachers for all levels of practitioners. Manduka created the eKO with dual layers - each with unique material properties to provide superior durability and the ultimate combination of cushion and grip. The top layer, which is denser and more durable than typical rubber, is engineered to provide maximum performance and longevity. The bottom layer, which is less dense and more sponge-like, is engineered to provide comfort and a layer of cushion and give.

Also, unlike TPE and other petro-based chemical mats, The Manduka eKO mat does not have "memory" from being rolled up and will lay completely flat without corners rolling. There is no other eco mat of its kind.
