DYC courses offer a rich mixture of yoga, yoga philosophy, integrative healing and meditation. deAnna Anderson offers Jivamukti, Restorative, Vinyasa and Ashtanga classes. Vinyasa is the linking of movement and breath. Restorative yoga utilizes the breath to induce deep releases in the body through a series of passive poses. Both the Jivamukti and the Ashtanga methods are vigorous vinyasa asana practices with philosophies that are deeply rooted in the ancient yogic teachings, emphasizing ujayii pranayama and the linking movement and breath.

Jill held a workshop here at Yoga Balance Studio that introduced many of our practitioners to Yin yoga - a quiet, passive yoga practice that offers the opportunity to bring balance to our busy lifestyles and harmony to our active yoga practice. Jill teaches and practices at Yogawood, located in the heart of Collingswood in South Jersey, only minutes away from Center City Philadelphia by train or car. They have yoga classes and workshops for adults, kids, prenatal women and postpartum students with their babies and families.
