Special Holiday Detox Yoga Flow and Ayurveda Class

Perfect for the Holiday Season! Join us for a warm flow class that will be both challenging and meditative. This Detox Yoga Flow series is designed to remove the body’s toxic impurities, leading to higher states of health and well being. Breathing, relaxation and guided meditation will bring this practice full circle.   A special discourse on Ayurveda “the science of life” often called the “mother of all healing” will be given with emphasis on  maintaining balance in one’s life with right thinking, diet and lifestyle.

30 Day Meditation Challenge

Meditation

Meditation helps us experience peace, connection, strengthens our relationships and helps us face our difficulties. Meditation cultivates concentration, lowers blood pressure and helps reduce chronic pain. Meditation improves brain function and we can start simply by slowing down and taking a breath. We have 4 wonderful workshops to explore meditation techniques that will help you become more aware of both your inner workings and outer world so that we can live an intentional happy life.

We will have a calendar at the studio to track your home meditation practice for 30 days! Suggested five minute practice for week 1- ten minute practice for week 2- fifteen minute practice for week 3 and 20 minute practice for week 4.

Yoga Nidra is an ancient sacred yogic process of meditation that can be practiced to induce profound relaxation in your body and mind, eliminate stress, overcome insomnia, solve personal and interpersonal problems by accessing our innate wisdom, and neutralize distressing emotions. Participants will experience a full 7 stage Yoga Nidra Meditation.

This practice will include both seated and moving meditation. Let the ceaseless chatter of your mind stop with an expressive movement practice. Your body moves as it chooses and your heart will soar.
