Helpful hints for your yoga practice!

  • Recognize that simply attending a yoga class is a major statement of courage, self-care and positive momentum.
  • Pay more attention to your internal experience rather than to your outer performance.
  • Find an edge in the pose for yourself where you are challenged but not overwhelmed and maintain a clear, open & accepting mind.
  • Give yourself permission to take a break and rest.
  • Pay attention to what you are saying to yourself as you practice. Come back to an intention that is positive; give yourself appreciation for your effort and innate goodness.
  • Go to class regularly, arrive a little early and talk with the other students.
  • Recognize that you are developing qualities like patience, compassion, discipline, wisdom, right effort, kindness, gratitude and many others that create a steady and soft mind.
  • Find a teacher who offers a balance between gentleness & firmness and whose teaching inspires you to practice from your highest self. You inspire others as you become more true to your deepest desires.

Everything you need for your practice is located at the back of the studio.
A restroom is available to changes clothes in, if you're coming directly from work.
