A Yoga Class for Athletes – Yes it can help!!

Whether you are a novice to yoga or an experienced yogi, an elite athlete or lacing up your first pair of running shoes, this class will help you discover how yoga can enhance your performance and well being. An intelligently designed yoga class offers the most complete workout and is an excellent addition to the sport of your choice. Regular class begins every Thursday, July 8th 5:45pm
In this class you will learn:
- Specific postures to help you build Strength and Stamina without weights, which often shorten muscles, impede quality circulation and create misaligned “rounded” posture and joint problems
- Specific postures and breathing practices to build Endurance without repetitive exercises that can cause stress fractures and chronic pain
- Specific postures to increase Flexibility, Balance and proper Alignment that result in pure functional strength
- Specific postures and breathing practices to sharpen Mental Focus and reduce stress, improving overall Performance and well being
