After practicing conventional medicine for over 15 years, Dr. Terri came to the realization that there was much more to the art of medicine then just pills, tests and procedures. Since 2004, she has been studying integrative medicine with a wide array of experts from across the country.
Integrative medicine is a philosophical shift away from more specialization and micromanagement of individual organ systems to a focus on the whole person including their body, mind and social support.Integrative medicine blends the best of conventional medicine with whole body healing systems.
Her travels to India and Africa enhanced her knowledge of Ayurveda, Yoga Science and indigenous medicines. She enjoys working in cooperation with clients interested in health and healing using food as medicine, breathing and exercise as therapies.
“Knowledge is medicine and knowing more about your body’s healing forces can greatly improve your ability to activate your body’s innate healing powers. Less pills, more skills — this is the optimal way to heal!” – Dr. Terri
