Honey Freis RYT 200
From the very first yoga class she took in 1996, Honey was hooked. She has always been amazed at how powerful the breath is in releasing tension and renewing the body. In 2005, she began her certification process to become a yoga teacher. Taking a break to have a baby, Honey completed her certification with Namaste USA in 2007 and has been teaching at Plano Parks and Recreation and with private clients since then. She teaches a nurturing style of Hatha yoga, emphasizing breath awareness and good alignment in each pose, allowing the body's innate wisdom to guide each movement. Honey uses yoga as a tool to create strength and alleviate pain in the body, bringing lightness to the mind and spirit.
Honey has studied yoga with Carol Stall and Vicki Johnson utilizing the Scaravelli method, Anusara yoga with John Friend and Desiree Rumbaugh and Iyengar yoga with Paula Weithman. She is currently working on a 108-hour Anusara yoga master immersion with Becky Klett.
