200hr Teacher Training

Gain knowledge, confidence, inspiration and growth in a conscious community to deepen your personal practice and teaching skills. Yoga Balance is a credentialed school with Yoga Alliance and taught by Tracy Carruth E-RYT 500, AYS, RYS 200 & 300.

  • Friday 6-9pm
  • Saturday and Sunday’s 10:30-6:30pm

300hr Advanced Teacher Training

300-hour advanced training is designed to build upon and deepen the understanding of the fundamental concepts of the practice and teaching for those with RYT 200-hour level. The 300-hour advanced training prepares its trainees to teach principles and techniques of yoga that are more advanced, more detailed, and/or subtler, and the training enables them to teach with greater skill and receive your RYT 500 (combining 200 & 300 program)

  • Saturday and Sunday’s 10:30-6:30pm
  • $2499 (Deadline Oct 15th)

Requirements for Both Trainings:

  • Attend all Weekend Trainings
  • Complete Homework
  • Assist, Observe, Teach Classes
  • Written Exam
  • Practicum
  • Mentorship

  • Yoga Asana Clinics: Standing Postures, Balance Postures, Twist and Core, Arm Balancing, Backbending Postures, Seated Postures and Hip Openers, Inversions, Savasana, Yoga Nidra, Restorative Yoga, Utilizing Props Effectively, Yin Yoga, Banhas, Mudras
  • Pranayama
  • Bhakti Yoga: Chanting and Meditation
  • Dharana and Dhyana: Meditation practices
  • Personal Study: Homework
  • Sequencing: Vinyasa Krama, Different Levels, Ayurvedic, Chakra, Yin, Mental Balance, Special Population
  • Responsive Teaching: Demonstration, Adjusting, Observation
  • Seat of the Teacher: Unity with Intention, Tone, Themes, Cues, Language
  • Physical Anatomy and Physiology
  • Subtle Anatomy: Chakra Theory, Nadis
  • Meridian Theory
  • Classic Text and Vedantic Philosophy: Sutras, Bhagavad Gita and Koshas
  • Whole Living: Ayurvedic Lifestyle, Doshas, Clock, Gunas, Vital Forces, Yin Yoga Meridian, Psychology
  • Business of Yoga
  • Teaching: Small Group, Obervation
